Founded by Lee Eyler in 1982. Lee's Speed Shop was a dream come true.  Lee worked for a company that created custom transmissions. It wasn't long before  he realized they were being less than honest with the customer, not listening and not building quality into every transmission. He left and started his own buisness built on respect and customer satisfaction.  He built a buisness where the customer comes first! It has been a winning combination ever since!

Tips for your Trans..

For Automatic Transmissions

Check your transmission fluid level with the engine running and warmed up. Check your owners manual or dipstick to see if your vehicle needs to be in park or neutral for this.

Don't engage 4WD on asphalt unless your vehicle was designed for this

Heat kills transmissions. Fit a transmission cooler on tow vehicles

Don't drive in overdrive all the time. Around town, when towing, and any circumstances that may be hard on the transmission, you should be in Drive 3 or have the overdrive turned off. This will help prevent premature transmission failure.

For Manual Transmissions

Do not drive with your left foot resting on the clutch pedal. This forces the release bearing against the clutch and will cause premature wear

Button style race clutches cause severe loadings on gearboxes and are best kept for the racetrack

Use a good quality oil of the correct viscosity for your particular gearbox and transfer unit (4WD). The wrong grade oil may cause wear and shift problems and even complete failure.
